Add intent by hand

Record a signal yourself when you learn something the web hasn't published.

Sometimes you know something the public web doesn't — a prospect told you on a call, or you saw it at a conference. Record it as a signal yourself and the score updates instantly.

  1. 1Open the account's Signals tabAccountsthe companySignalsAdd signal
  2. 2Pick the scoring rule it belongs toChoose which rule this evidence supports (e.g. “Hiring for security roles”). The rule's points flow into the score.
  3. 3Describe it and give it a sourceA title, details, and a source URL. A signal without a public source is stored as needs verification and scores zero until it's verified — that's the honesty rule working as intended. If your source is a conversation, paste a link to your own note or leave it to be verified later.
  4. 4SaveThe score, priority band, and why-now update immediately; automations that match the change fire.

Other ways people “set intent”

  • Status — the dropdown on the account header (Target, In Pipeline, Disqualified…) is your human judgment; it never changes the score.
  • Tags — label accounts (e.g. #hot-q3) and filter by tag anywhere.
  • Thresholds — if the bands themselves feel wrong, tune them in SettingsScoring.
