Archive or delete a workspace

Take a workspace out of use — reversibly with Archive, or for good with Delete.

A workspace you've stopped using doesn't have to clutter the switcher — or keep spending research on its behalf. Owners and admins manage them in SettingsWorkspaces: every workspace is listed with its account count, live ones first, archived ones below.

Archive — reversible

Archive (it asks first) takes a workspace out of use without deleting anything:

  • It disappears from the workspace switcher, and its pages and accounts stop opening.
  • Its background work stops — the daily agent, the Daily Brief and its emails and Slack posts, sequence sends, overnight research claims, and website tracking. Running email sequences are held exactly where they were, not ended: after Restore, a step that came due during the archive goes out on the next runner pass, inside your sending window and daily limit.
  • It stops counting toward your plan's monitored-account limit, so archiving frees room — but on a plan with a workspace limit (the Free plan has one workspace), an archived workspace still counts toward that limit.
  • Every account, signal, contact, setting and automation is kept exactly as it was.

Restore brings it back. If its accounts wouldn't fit under your plan's limit any more, the restore is refused with the usual upgrade message rather than quietly going over. A workspace's name stays taken while it's archived — restore or delete it to reuse the name.

Delete — permanent

Delete… removes the workspace and everything in it for good: its accounts with their evidence, contacts, research jobs and results, alerts, pipeline, sequences, templates, enrichment answers and settings. You have to type the workspace's exact name to confirm — an empty box never confirms, and a workspace that somehow has no name must be given one in Settings before it can be deleted — and other workspaces are untouched. Overnight research runs on the Free plan that were still waiting for their batch are returned to the month's allowance, and a run that can't be returned doesn't block the delete. Copies already pushed to Salesforce, HubSpot, OnePageCRM, Slack or a webhook are not removed — remove them in those systems. A teammate limited to the deleted workspace has no access until someone gives them another. If you only want it out of the way, archive it instead — archiving can be undone.

One workspace left, or none

You can archive or delete your last live workspace. The app then offers to restore an archived one or create a new one. On the Free plan, which includes one workspace, an archived workspace still counts toward that one — restore it, or delete it to start fresh (when archived workspaces fill the limit, the app disables Create a new workspace and points you to Restore).
