How-to guides
Research a company
Three ways to point the research agent at a company.
“Research” means: verify the company is really who you think, confirm it fits your market, gather sourced buying signals, detect competitor products, find likely buyers, and compute the intent score. One command does all of it.
Three ways to start it
| From | How |
|---|---|
| Research screen | Type the company name into Research a company and submit. Best for brand-new companies not in your universe yet. |
| An account page | Research now in the header. Best for refreshing an account before a call. |
| CSV import | Tick the research option during import — every created account gets queued. |
What you get back
- A buying-event score with a point-by-point breakdown you can inspect.
- An ICP-fit judgment — does this company match who you sell to, scored 0–100 with the reasons stated.
- Signals with source links, competitor and technology evidence, and verified people.
- A why-now line, a recommended sales play, and a full trigger brief.
Give it the website when the name is common
“Matter” or “Apex” could be a dozen companies. With the website filled in, Diurno HQ can't pick the wrong one — and if it can't be sure, it fails honestly rather than guessing.
Watch progress on the Research screen. A full workup typically takes under a minute on the instant lane.
